Leave the gun and take the cannoli.
The New York Times sparked my interest with their piece on the three influential democratic “families”. The Kennedys, which are an essential part of American folklore and are often depicted as the closest thing we have to royalty; the Clintons, who brought America to the center and helped the [...]

I’m currently reading a book published in 2002 called, “Unfinished Business” by Harlan Ullman. The book has a foreword by Senator John McCain, the current republican pod person.
I didn’t have to get very far before I found a passage that is relevant to the controversial debate of “negotiating with terrorists”. President Bush chose to [...]

Before the Iowa Caucus results were announced and there were still three candidates in the primary (John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama), Chris Matthews had the chief strategists of the campaigns on his show.
John Edwards seemed like he was back then, what John McCain is now. The Obama and Clinton campaigns were focused on [...]

“You’re familiar with the poll that says a certain number of Clinton supporters won’t vote for Obama and a certain number of Obama supporters won’t vote for Clinton? I think a toxic campaign all the way to June will raise those numbers. I would hope something will happen between now and Denver that will prevent [...]

Countdown with Keith Olbermann just celebrated five years on TV. Below is one of the most poignant “special comments” I remember.

A bipartisan bill increasing the educational funds and other important benefits for war vets is in the Senate right now. Both Democrats, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are currently supporting it. John McCain, who is running heavily on his war record, has not yet done so.

Hillary Clinton made a funny!
I liked she did this, showed her sense of humor. She seized a great opportunity and her dead pan execution showcases her acting skills.
However, after a while all the symbolism and metaphors made me feel like she and Obama are running for bowling team captain rather [...]

I was cleaning up links in my blog and realized my post “Rod Parsley, Right Wing Teddy Bear” has a video that is no longer available.
I was trying to find a replacement for it, but I came across a video I feel should be showcased on its own.
The following is video of Rod Parsley, an [...]

I can’t believe the people at Fox News credit themselves with journalistic integrity. They have almost none.
During “The Live Desk” program the pundits actually discuss whether or not Bill Richardson grew his beard to look “more hispanic” and then start debating whether they thought he looked Hispanic without it.
