It’s been a while…

Posted by: liberty53000 on: June 11, 2009

So I haven’t posted for a while, and honestly politics are depressing. But I’m leaving to the army soon and my routine has me quite bored, and I just read an article and I wanted to write about it.

Pres. Obama visited the Prime Minister of England and, as is custom, they exchanged gifts. Prime Minister [...]

Worthy Quote: Mark Steyn

Posted by: liberty53000 on: January 20, 2009

“Everybody wants this president to succeed. It’s not in the interests of Americans or of the United States for this presidency to be a failure.”

-Mark Steyn on his website, after reflecting on the long road Obama took to get here. No one likes a sore loser, so I’ll follow his example. Congratulations and good luck! [...]

Hilary waits one more day

Posted by: liberty53000 on: January 20, 2009

Today, after being sworn into office, PRESIDENT Obama sat to do the traditional signing. The papers he’s signing are pretty much making the choices for his cabinet official. Hillary Clinton’s position was not signed yet. It has been postponed by Texas Senator John Cornyn. It will not happen today.

She’ll most likely get in there, although [...]

Oops!

Posted by: liberty53000 on: January 20, 2009

Barack Hussein Obama makes his first presidential mistake as he swears into office. A little jumble with the words, the Supreme Court Justice decided to not take notes. Well, actually he wasn’t president yet…

Oh Obama…

Posted by: liberty53000 on: January 19, 2009

Oh so here we come on inauguration day. A day I was hoping would never come. It’s not that I don’t want change, because God knows I do, but a day that I fear is going to lead to a worship of an unworthy hero. I know I’m Cuban and we hold on very [...]

Bristol Palin Gave Birth

Posted by: BookGirl on: December 29, 2008

The Briz finally had her baby.  The little boy, named Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, was born on Sunday.  He weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz.
Bristol and her fiance are both 18, so technically it’s not as bad as the whole Jamie Lynn Spears sitch (she was 16 when she got knocked up), but the teens [...]

RuPaul Poses As Michelle AND Barack Obama

Posted by: BookGirl on: December 18, 2008

The best damn drag queen knows how to create a buzz.
Ms. RuPaul sent out a Christmas card where he plays the role of President-elect Barack Obama and his spunky wife, Michelle.
This is way better than those pics Tyra Banks posed for a few months ago.  Work it, girl!

Obama’s Invocation To Be Given By Rick Warren

Posted by: BookGirl on: December 17, 2008

The record breaking inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama will be purpose driven.
Pastor Rick Warren, author of the best-selling novel “The Purpose Driven Life,” will be saying the invocation at the ceremony.
The most controversial thing about Rick Warren is that he is against gay marriage. But Obama’s VP  is against gay marriage too, so I’m not [...]

Obama Is Time’s “Person of the Year”

Posted by: BookGirl on: December 17, 2008

Barack Obama won the distinction of being Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year.”
As the first biracial man to be elected president of the United States, he deserves it.  If you’d like to see the cover, click HERE.  (Note, it’s a link to the Perez Hilton site, but don’t worry, he didn’t draw cum on his [...]

Ann Coulter Wants An Apology From Michelle Obama

Posted by: BookGirl on: December 16, 2008

What’s in a name?
A rose by any other word would smell as sweet- unless that word is in Arabic because that is the language of the terrorists.

Fear-monger extraordinaire Ann Coulter called the future President-Elect by the name “B. Hussein Obama” throughout the election to remind Americans of his Muslim ties because everyone knows being Muslim [...]

Illinois politics make me want to Blagojevich all over myself!

Posted by: liberty53000 on: December 11, 2008

And of course, by Blagojevich, I mean barf. Blagojevich is the Governor of Illinois who has been arrested for corruption. This guy reminds me of the  cartoons where there are pigs, dressed up and lighting cigars with hundred dollar bills.  Really despicable.  Among his biggest offensives, he “put a ‘for sale’ sign on the [...]

Oh why not!

Ok, so the election’s over, but there’s still time to poke fun at our bad decisions right? I wish I had seen this video before, but alas…
