Today, after being sworn into office, PRESIDENT Obama sat to do the traditional signing. The papers he’s signing are pretty much making the choices for his cabinet official. Hillary Clinton’s position was not signed yet. It has been postponed by Texas Senator John Cornyn. It will not happen today.
She’ll most likely get in there, although [...]

Are you freaking serious???
Sarah Palin misquoted Madeline Albright to insult women who aren’t voting for her.
According to the Huffington Post, the actual quote on the Starbucks cup is “There is a special place in hell for women that don’t help other women.” Big difference, Sarah.

Tina Fey’s uncanny resemblance to VP candidate Sarah Palin created hot rumors that she was going to impersonate the Alaskan hockey mom on SNL. She finally did last night. I can’t upload the video (copyright) but you can watch it HERE on Hulu.
Tina’s impression was spot on.. her accent was perfect. And Amy Poehler was [...]

–Click on the image to make it bigger. I just wanted to illustrate that even though Sarah Palin is capitalizing on Hillary Clinton’s hard work, the only thing they have in common is a vagina. (I left the spellcheck underline because even Microsoft knows what a Clinton is but is all “WTF is a Palin?”)

I know it’s politics. I know it’s suppose to be cut throat and every man for himself. But let’s look at the facts. Sarah Palin made her speech and gave credit where credit was due, with Ferraro and Hillary Clinton, two women who paved the way in politics. They’re both Democrats, and yet she didn’t [...]

Hillary Clinton followed a fun speech by that Schweitzer guy . The night dragged on forever, it seemed. She was introduced by a special video narrated by Chelsea Clinton. It made me almost like her.
Enjoy my liveblogging after the jump, watch the speech (in full) below.

Leave the gun and take the cannoli.
The New York Times sparked my interest with their piece on the three influential democratic “families”. The Kennedys, which are an essential part of American folklore and are often depicted as the closest thing we have to royalty; the Clintons, who brought America to the center and helped the [...]

The Democratic National Convention is going on in Denver, Colorado starting tonight and I’m really interested to see how this post-Olympics politicalfest pans out.
Michelle Obama is scheduled to speak, which I think is so indicative of the way Obama views his talented wife. He chose her to kick off the night because he doesn’t just [...]

Here’s the latest information from the New York Times:
«On Monday night, Caroline Kennedy is to introduce a video of her uncle, Ted, and then Michelle Obama takes the stage. Tuesday night is for Senator Hillary Clinton.
Perhaps the trickiest night will be Wednesday, which promises to be the busiest (and perhaps the most tumultous). It will [...]

Since overturning Roe V. Wade has been a little more difficult than they expected, the ultra conservative Bush Administration is moving on to their usual shady and illegal practices.
The Houston Chronicle reports:
«Health and Human Services officials are considering a draft regulation that would classify most birth control pills, the Plan B emergency contraceptive and intrauterine [...]
