I was checking the Twitter when I read a tweet from Arutz Sheva, the Israeli media outlet I subscribe to on the networking site. The headline read: “Worldwide Rallies Support, Praise Israel’s War on Gaza Terrorism.”

The article attached to it went on to discuss how thousands of people are marching in cities across the world [...]

China Blocks New York Times Website

I betcha Bush wishes he could do this.
The Chinese government has blocked internet access to the New York Times website in their country.
Officials didn’t warn anybody it was going to happen. Instead, users who tried to log on to the site were notified it was “unavailable.”

Lisa Valentine, a Muslim woman, wore a her usual headscarf when she accompanied a relative to traffic court. The bailiff asked her remove it before going into the courtroom.

She refused and uttered “This is bullshit” as she departed. The bailiff decided to arrest her and brought her before the bench of Judge Keith Rollins.

Miami Judge Oks Gay Adoption

It’s a move that will challenge Florida’s laws against gay adoption. A circuit judge in Miami made a ruling in favor of Martin Gill, a gay man, who wants to adopt two foster children he’s been raising.
Gay adoption does NOT challenge families,

A lifesize cardboard cut out of democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, was hung from a tree at George Fox University. The school is located in Newberg, Oregon and AP describes it as small and Christian, so I’m going to assume the area is conservative.

I covered a Constitution Day event for my college paper yesterday. Noted historian and New York Times best-selling author, Rick Shenkman, was on campus to discuss our nation’s founding document.
He authored the book, “Just How Stupid Are We?” about how ill informed American voters are. The facts he shared were highly disturbing.
