It must be tough living in the Governor’s mansion during a recession.
Proving that in South Carolina, backwoods coon hunting usually cures all ills, the state’s top leader, Mark Sanford, “disappeared” after a stressful few days.
No one knew where he went. Not even his wife!

I love Diane von Furstenburg. Her Spring 2009 collection is below.
She uses flowy materials in bohemian cuts that remind me of meadows, hills, and tambourines. Spring to her is what it is to me: a time to pick wildflowers and look ultra feminine while remaining comfort and glamorous.
I approve.

I was checking the Twitter when I read a tweet from Arutz Sheva, the Israeli media outlet I subscribe to on the networking site. The headline read: “Worldwide Rallies Support, Praise Israel’s War on Gaza Terrorism.”
The article attached to it went on to discuss how thousands of people are marching in cities across the world [...]

The United States government (also known as Halliburton) has just opened it’s new embassy in Iraq. This latest monument to despotism is the largest of all the embassies in the world.

– The National Portrait gallery will be exhibiting the paintings of George W. Bush and his wife, Laura. Her image emminates class, his … idiocy. I will always wonder how Laura made that marriage work. To learn more and to see Bush’s portrait, click HERE.

Despite being caught on tape making illegal deals, disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich refuses to resign. Instead, he blamed “a political lynch mob” of spreading false accusations about him at a press conference today.
Watch his appeal below.
He’s going to try to pull a David Vitter and hold on to a post [...]

Bristol Palin surprised liberals and conservatives when it was confirmed she was pregnant, especially since her mother, Sarah Palin was running for vice-president on a “family values” platform.
Everyone loves a good ironic twist, especially when it makes their politicians look like hypocrites. Now, it’s time to add another layer to the redneck drama.
Bristol Palin’s babby [...]

W. Mark Felt died today at the age of 95.
Felt revealed himself as the man behind the pseudo-name “Deep Throat” in 2005, ending one of the greatest mysteries in American politics.
According to the New York Times:
«Without Mr. Felt, there might not have been a Watergate — shorthand for the revealed abuses of presidential powers in [...]
