Proving that in South Carolina, backwoods coon hunting usually cures all ills, the state’s top leader, Mark Sanford, “disappeared” after a stressful few days.

No one knew where he went. Not even his wife!

According to the ABC News blog, Sanford left last Thursday and he claims to be “writing something.”

Hm. He can’t lead and write?

If Sanford doesn’t report back to work by tomorrow, he should be impeached for being a wuss.

What America needs now is strong leaders not yellow-bellied cowards!

Apparently Sanford is hiking in the Appalachian Mountains. And he missed Father’s Day with his kids. He’s one seflish dude.
