This is relevant because Reverend Wright is relevant.
I’m glad God is in charge of all the pipelines, but I wonder why he put all the oil in the Middle East, then?
She looks like the PTA President not like a Governor. I’m not in a hurry to stick her in the oval office. I think she will continue to lower the prestige of the VP and Presidency. We already had a freakin’ hillbilly in office for eight years, I’m over it.
And I want to make clear that I don’t have a problem with people that pray and have faith, but I do have a problem with people that justify their leadership decisions because they pretend to know God’s will. Still, according to the latest Gallup poll, religion remains a dividing factor among whites.

I must agree, in that I’m not convinced that drilling in ANWR is God’s will…That’s not selling with me. But, I don’t get the connection with Rev Wright. It’s one thing to claim that God wants Alaskans to harvest it’s natural resources, but quite another to foam at the mouth, spewing racist hate speech. When Palin invokes God’s name, we hear many “thank yous” delivered in an upbeat tone. When Wright envokes Gods name, it is to damn America. I don’t see any connection with the two, but I take your point about drilling and God.
