Reflect on Mrs.Obama’s Speech

Posted by: liberty53000 on: August 25, 2008

The speech was… well lets just say, I had to force myself to half watch it, but that’s to be expected.

What I think was more fun was reading two very different live blogs. One being my dear friend BookGrl’s, and the other being Michelle Malkin’s. How do we see things differently?!

Bookgrl, maybe it’s the romantic in her, but she found everything and anything to praise her on. Her glossy hair, her outfit, her uniqueness, gaining composure, etc. She really seemed to enjoy it. I tried hard to see what she saw, but it was a no go.

On Malkin’s side I felt I could relate a little more (not surprisingly). We rolled our eyes together, and bonded as we gagged. It was nice to know there was someone out there who agreed that Michelle O reminded them of Laura Linnely in The Truman Show.

So why am I blogging this and not my own relfection on her speech? Because if you want to see the speech you can. I’m sure it’s all over youtube by now. What I like to gauge are different reactions. I think some people will dislike everything related to the person they dislike, and that is something worth evaluating.

So as Bookgrl sheds a tear for sweet ol’ goody two shoes, I wipe a tear induced from gagging.

Her hair WAS shiny…

Maybe the speech’s only redeeming quality.

Michelle Malkin is an evil bitch!

I have to disagree. Michelle Malkin is an educated woman and a brilliant writer. I see nothing evil about her.
