The proverbial shit has hit the fan.
After an extremely lengthy, arduous (this is a perfect time to use that word) debate that stretched almost all of Saturday, the Rules and Bylaws Committee finally came to an agreement.

John McCain is enjoying the lack of scrutiny he is receiving. For all his military experience, he is making gaffe after gaffe on the Iraq war. The last time, as you may remember, he confused the Shias and Al-Qaeda, implicating Iran was working directly with Al-Qaeda without any proof.

Last night 28 of the 30 Rules and Bylaws Committee members got together in a hotel restaurant to discuss the Michigan-Florida delegates. The meeting started at 8 pm and did not end until 1:30 am. For five hours a range of scenarios were discussed, but no conclusion was reached.
