The current tumult in the Middle East is inescapable for us now. We can’t turn on the news without hearing about warring factions, struggles for land, and overall anarchy.

It’s hard to understand everything without knowing the background of the area. It’s hard to learn the background because the area is the home of some of the oldest civilizations in world history. That means a whole lotta history is to be learned and the average American ain’t got time (or sometimes interest) to learn that shiz.
