Examining The Indiana-Wigger Controversy

You all know I’m no Clinton supporter. I’m also not a fan of James Carville or man-child George Snuffleupagus.

But, there’s a video floating around on the internets that embroils these vile people in something that I’m thinking is even more vile than they are capable of. At least in front of a camera.

Watch the video below. My take after the jump.

In the video, Bill Clinton’s former campaign chair during his first run and Hillary’s current campaign adviser, Mickey Kantor supposedly says people from Indiana “are shit” and then there’s an almost inaudible “white ni**er” comment.

According to Kantor in a statement to the Huffington Post, he claims he didn’t say the slur, he instead said “How would you like to be in the White House right now?”

He says the video, which is a clip from a larger documentary called, “The War Room”, was doctored.

Initially when I watched it, I fell for it. I was outraged at Kantor’s “elitism”. But upon closer examination (translation: watching the video a million times) I realized Kantor was telling the truth.

In reference to the “shit” comment, he actually says “shitting”. He is referring to George HW Bush’s campaign. He says they are “shitting” themselves because of the poll numbers. He doesn’t mean people from Indiana are excrement.

And the second, more offensive comment, clearly doctored. The “white ni**er” portion is louder than the rest of the sentence and the words don’tmatch up with his lips. It sounds like what happens after a movie gets released on cable and the actors have to dub over bad words with things like “Darn” and “Oh, horseradishes!”

Fake, fake, fake.

So, as much as I believe the Clintons and their people are sneaky, conniving, untrustworthy, and cruel, I don’t think they are stupid enough to say something like that in front of a camera and crew.

But now they are sneaky and conniving enough to yell “conspiracy” again. I hate that they have another chance at calling foul while they beat up Obama with Reverend Wright.

My advice to them: Get over it. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Don’t suit up if you don’t want to get tackled. Listen to your own damn cliches for once.

UPDATE: The video is gone, the Clintons move quick and are a force to be reckoned with.

  1. Agreed. The Clintons are low lifes, but this seems manufactured to hurt them at the last minute.

I think someone did obviously do this on purpose, but I hate the victim card Hillary’s campaign seems to like playing whenever something unfair happens.

  3. If you extract the audio from “The War Room” and you then filter all the noise in it, you get this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9z3r3pfRjo

And if it was so harmless then why did he whisper it?

A transcript can be found HERE from ABC. Even the official director of the documentary it’s from said it’s a fake, proof is HERE.

Look, I know some people aren’t going to be satisfied. They’re going to keep on believing this is true, and that’s their prerogative. Just like there are people that still think Barack Obama is a muslim.

Even though I don’t like the Clintons, I’m not going to propagate dishonesty or slander.

    Thanks for your comment!
